Kevin MacDonald: Mel Gibson is back

Kevin MacDonald: Mel Gibson’s new movie, Edge of Darkness, has just been released, so he’s making the media rounds. But of course, a lot of reporters want to remind people what the real story about Mel Gibson is his anti-Jewish comments while being arrested for DUI in 2006. There was a great television moment during an interview with Sam Rubin  that goes approximately as follows:

Rubin: “Some people are going to welcome you back and some people are going to say you should never come back.”

Gibson leans forward aggressively, and with a big smile says, “Why?”

Rubin: “Because of what happened before.”

Gibson, feigning ignorance: “Because what happened before?”

Rubin: “Because of the remarks that were attributed to you.”

Gibson: “Remarks that were attributed to me that I didn’t necessarily mean [translation: "Maybe I meant what I said and maybe I didn't"], but I gather you have a dog in this fight.”

Rubin: “What?”

Gibson: “Do you have a dog in this fight or are you being impartial?”

Beautiful. Putting Rubin on the defensive and calling attention to his Jewish identity — as much as saying, “Of course your remarks are completely understandable because you have an ax to grind: You’re Jewish.”

The best defense is a good offense. The LA Times described Rubin as looking “uncomfortable and, really, who could blame him? Every moviegoer learned long ago that no one comes uncorked quite like Mel Gibson.” I rather doubt that Gibson is going to have deal with his Jewish problem in future interviews.

After the interview, Rubin beats himself up for not being more aggressive  and telling Gibson that “as a Jew and a human being ” he was offended by Gibson’s remarks. Rubin also says he doesn’t really think Gibson has apologized enough, nor has Gibson ever said that what he said was false. (For example, Gibson is reported to have said, “Fucking Jews…Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world.” In an interview with Diane Sawyer he attributed his remarks to the situation in the Middle East and to  the “brutal sort of public beating” he received from Jews in the wake of The Passion. To take the most obvious recent example, if you think that the Iraq war would have happened without Jewish influence you are either seriously deluded or simply not paying attention.)

Actually, I wish Rubin had gotten more aggressive instead of going into a state of shock. Gibson getting uncorked on Rubin would be a great pay-per-view event. My money would definitely be on Braveheart.

Obviously, Rubin was dumbfounded when Gibson didn’t grovel. There’s a lesson for all of us in that.

Incidentally, as I noted previously, Edge of Night seems to be an entirely non-Jewish enterprise: The producer, director, the screenwriter, and the lead actors are all non-Jews. It’s probably the only way Gibson could work in Hollywood as an actor apart from producing his own projects.

Why does Israel work so hard to terrorize, murder, torture and kill the real natives of the area? 90%+ of the Israeli Jews are from Eastern Europe originally, just got transplanted there and booted out the natives.

Why didn’t Hitler finish the job in Europe?

Gibson was right on with his statement about jews anyway.
Why apologize to anyone about the truth

You have to hand it to the Jews. They tell you at every turn that they are going to take over the world, they control the money and the press, and that controls the government, the religions and the nations. They create a completely perverted media and art, re-write history to their benefit. They invent crimes they can accuse You of, like racism and sexism. And if you accuse them of ANY crime, all they have to do is to deny it and accuse you of the worst crime : “anti-Semitism” and then they get a pass.

Mel is a typically mongrel Goyim Anti-Semite. He probably believes that the histories of Jews sacrificing Goyim babies and drinking their blood are true.

A Joo – “He probably believes that the histories of Jews sacrificing Goyim babies and drinking their blood are true.”

Evidently you haven’t heard of a recent book entitled BLOODY PASSOVER written by Israeli Prof. Ariel Toaff (the son of the Chief Rabbi of Rome) wherein he admits that there is some amount of truth in the ‘blood libel’ claim, i.e. some Jews did indeed engage in ritual human sacrifice in Europe and they performed certain ceremonies with the blood (often dried) of the sacrificed victim. Most often the victim was a non-Jewish White child, but not always.

All you really need to consider is this: The Jews are always 100% innocent. Always and forever. 100%

And I seriously doubt if the Hollywood community will allow DiCaprio to star in a film directed by Mel Gibson. DeNiro was to have costarred in Edge of Darkness, dropped out for “artistic reasons”…

I would like to see Gibson do another historical movie of our British history about 2000 years ago. The time of Emperor Claudius, the British King Caractacus, Linus, Claudia, Rufus Pudens, Aulus Plautius, St. Paul, Aristobulus.

The apostle Paul took Christianity to Britain long before the Roman Church did and he was related to the British royal family. Some of this information is found in “The Lost Chapter of Acts of the Apostles” with commetary by E. Raymond Capt.

Perhaps someone can get this information to Mel Gibson.

Recalling the mass appeal of Shoes of the Fisherman and the DaVinci Code, I’ve thought that with the dual themes of Vatican II and Holocaust Denial, a (fictionalized?) Bishop Williamson story would contain lots of color and behind-the-scenes mystery and power play.
