Christopher Donovan: In this video, speaker Dan Buettner reviews three world spots — Sardinia, Okinawa, and Loma Linda, California (home of a community of 7th-day Adventists) — where people regularly live to be 100.
He throws in some political correctness (like claiming that the Adventists are racially mixed, which I question the extent of), but the biggest conclusion is: You live long by having a connectedness with your fellow humans, as well as a sense of both daily and ultimate purpose. More than drink, drugs and fried foods, it’s isolation and nihilism that kill. Never mind the Stairmaster — get some friends.
How is “tribe life” best achieved? Well, racial homogeniety is an unstated but obvious factor. Neither Sardinia nor Okinawa are even remotely multiracial or multicultural.
On the basis of studies, demographic movements and a thousand personal anecdotes, I surmise that the most corrosive environments for humans are multiracial societies where everyone’s got their guard up about everyone else — including members of their own race. Rather than cooperate and blend, they scrap and fight. In effect, life in a multiracial society — especially for Whites denied any sense of an explicit White community — is de facto isolation. We know that human racial groups are programmed by evolution to trust in-group members more than outsiders — not because they’re “racist” or morally deficient, but because from primitive to modern times, the outsiders were rightly seen as competitors for resources and power.
It’s not much of a stretch, then, to imagine that a lot of stress reduction comes from living in a racially homogenous setting. Who knew that we “scary racists” were really just health gurus underneath it all?

We “scary racists” are the Toxic Other.
The big fad in the self-help industry right now is the idea of “toxic people.” People in your life who can steal your “mojo.”
We “scary racists” are portrayed in much the same way by the powers that be.
I think this at least in part explains why our society is so screwed up.

It would not be that surprising. David Koresh of Waco fame was a Branch Davidian (a Seventh Day Adventist splinter group), and his followers were very racially mixed.
Adam, it might not be surprising, but ‘real’ 7th Day Adventists tend to be overwhelmingly white, while groups like those led by Koresh, Jim Jones etc tend to be much more racially mixed or “minority majority” The 7th Day Adventists Buettner speaks about are most likely almost all white. Loma Linda is over 50% white, and the whites are very separate from the rest of the population. Visit the city and you’ll see. The E. Asians are pocketed within the white areas but the hispanics and blacks are in their own neighborhoods. Visit the city if you’re in CA, you can see the voluntary segregation in action like most other places in this state.

Unfortunately this is very shallow.
Not a word about the obvious fact that we WERE homogenous for centuries and centuries before today, and yet Multiculturalism came over us like a tornado and attacked us like a virus. Meaning we were easily overwhelmed and overpowered.
Why?
Because we were unprepared!
Why were we unprepared?
For a number of reasons.
All adding up to the fact that we didn’t function as a coherent group.
The reasons for that we are just beginning to see.
It will take a while to sort out long enough to form a solid and productive group capable of using and living from the ideas that result from those investigations.
In short, a group capable of both growth, and self-defense. The two are connected.
We couldn’t defend ourselves because we didn’t care about our families and family members (and Race is extended Family).
Indifferent to Hostile within, we were vulnerable and susceptible to attack from without, and from forces equally or even more hostile, as events have proven.
And yet, rarely do we hear any real self-reflection on the matter, which is the one thing we’re supposed to do better than any other Race.
But then from one perspective we could say
“What’s the surprise?”
Whites were not able to survive the French and American Revolutions (it could be argued that this is what first derailed us) the Industrial Revolution and the rarely discussed but perhaps even more influential Intellectual Revolution starting with Kant.
So we were definitely already no match for the Population Explosion that introduced millions of Whites (including many if not all of us) into the world who were immediately thrown into a civilization they did not create and so, did not understand, though they had to act like they did.
This also meant that many secretly, or not, resented it.
For example, the first people I ever heard use expressions like
“Dead European White Males” were from the White Middle Class! Non-Jewish.
They may have learned the expression from Jews but they mouthed them loudly and with glee.
The historically envy-prone Middle Class were so doped on their anti-hisotircal, anti-intellectual self-righteousness, which emanated from class envy and a hatred of anything superior to them, to anything “individual, qualified, and select”, that they couldn’t see that the Hostile Elite were looking at them as the single largest group of Useful Idiots in the History of Mankind – even while they were befriending and using them. Or, befriending TO use them!
Consequences:
Whites as a Race became analogous to a Scientific Theory that produces more Data than the Theory can handle. The Theory breaks down, but no one knows what to do, so their lives are built around lots of lying and make work. Phoney activity that protects them from a harsh, recalcitrant and unyeilding reality.
This is how a lot of Theology and Ideology has functioned for Whites in the last one hundred years.
The 19th and 20th century are filled with such grand theories that became disasters in practice. And not just Communism!
Look at Technology. Look at the Automobile!
This is not the result of Original Sin!!!!!!!
It’s simply because we couldn’t keep up with ourselves.
The hidden assumption is always – ALWAYS – that we are perfectly adaptive and for this reason we’re going to live forever and if not it’s someone elses fault!!!!!
The only people who can blame someone else are abused and neglected children.
With reason, since the consequences never goes away – though fortunately we are able to do more about it than we think.
And here is a possible bright spot.
Because the same goes for Whites.
But not if they can’t shake their addiction to oversimplified solutions to enormously complex problems!!!!!

Fact is we are caught in a extremely complex web of historical accidents and are stubbornly, psychotically applying old models to them.
And I am talking about Whites!!!!
Whites are the only Race that have at least produced a tiny percentage of people within that Race capable of engaging in Self-Criticism without permitting any anxiety to interfere with that self-examination!
But how many people do we know who can actually do that?
And I am not talking about PC floor mats and People-Pleasers, they don’t even figure into it.
Just look at the Hostile Elite. Completely incapable of self-criticism without anxiety. But Whites? When they do engage in it is almost immediately collapses into maudelin self-loathing. It’s rarely used as a tool for spiritual growth.
I have no argument with those who say that Jews make up the overwhelming majority of the Hostile Elite (just as I am sure as the day is long that their incredible inability to engage in self-reflection and admit when they are wrong will be the cause of their ultimate undoing. In fact, I’d say it’s already happening. As soon as they are completely successful they will fail, badly, and forever).
But what were, and are, the trap doors or open doors within Whites as a racial group that made this possible?
One explanation among many could be the Bible itself.
The Old Testament is a book of Judgement.
The New Testament a book of Mercy.
Though the New Testament never lost the Judgement part, but it did develop it’s Mercy. The Judgement was preserved and used, against itself!
The Old Testament people never lost their emphasis on Judgement and only used Mercy to guilt-trip the Merciful.
They were Merciless about using Mercy to Guilt-trip the Merciful.
And it worked.
It was only a matter of time before the Judgemental would attach themselve through their evolutionary strategy of economic control of the power centers of those they saw as their enemy, and then climb to power from there using our Mercy against us and then, simply take over, completely.
And this is what they’ve done.
How could they do it?
Because our Mercy was an Abstraction from the beginning!
Just as it is now.
My goodness, how can one not see this all important point?
And yet it was missed!
I’m refering to the fact that as Liberalism grew in power the Family declined in influence. The only thing that increased in relation to the White family were the terrible consequences of abuse and neglect.
Or, “The evil men do lives after them.”
As Liberalism grew and morphed into PC and was then used against it’s most loyal practictioners, Whites, the White Family was dying.
The Kennedy’s are a superb example. As Ted Kennedy clung to power for nearly half a century his entire family just fell apart.
As Liberalism grew, the Family died.
It would be instructive to know the exact number of White families who sat in front of the TV set watching “Roots” and cheering on Chicken George while simultaneously ignoring the developmental depedency needs of their children!
Why?
Because Liberalism is Caring in the Abstract!
Family was, is, and always will be, the most intense form of intimate relation that humans can have with each other.
And yet when this was pointed out to White people, as it had to be since the Family was producing not only dysfunctional, but totally non-functional, and mal-adaptive individuals, the majority of Whites sneered and laughed at the suggestion that their problem was at its core a fear of intimacy.
They dismissed it with sarcasm and used that to convince themselves that they didn’t have a problem so they could get back to their fear of intimacy and drive the family and our race deeper and deeper into the ground setting the stage for our current dilema!
Again, to quote the always exemplary Steve Sailer,
Race is extended Family.
Mistreat the Family and you mistreat the Race.
And yet, who here is talking about the Family or can speak with any competency on it? And if they can why aren’t they?
Consequence:
More shallowness and abstractions like “get friends” and “let’s all be White together” Yeah, you mean like we were before!
At the time the studies were being done on SDA in Loma Linda they were overwhelmingly White.
Of course people have no knowledge of anything past the last year so the enemy of our race relies upon that to muddle all reports.
However, here, we may speak the truth, for now.
Even in larger metropolitan areas there were “black” and “latino” SDA churches with nary a paleface amongst them and, in like manner, congregations where it was a White as old time America was.
Also recall the study on Italians in PA, they said the reason they were so healthy etc and HAPPY was due to their diet. When their kids acquired all the ills and miseries of the average American who imbibed the enemy’s propaganda from birth, they blamed it on their diet.
What they did not mention, on purpose, was the area’s changed demographics.
You know the most respectable Jewish people threaten the WORLD with nuclear annihilation in places like the Los Angeles Times and not a word is said.
Well we know what a multiracial, multi-cultural world is like, and there is some satisfaction that the enemy will be swallowed up in that hell also.

My dear Sir,
I was referring to a few decades ago when landmark studies on SDA, as well as Mormon, longevity and healthfulness were groundbreaking research. The SDA at that time in Loma Linda was predominately White, very few minorities. Of course, like the rest of America, it is now changed, as indeed is the Mormon Church as well.
So today it is gloriously, diverse.
The health issues will follow.
Diversity is death, tolerance is suicide.
The student body of Loma Linda University doesn’t reflect the make up of the 7th Day Adventists in Loma Linda. That’s like saying the racial make-up of Los Angeles reflects the look of the Mormon Temple’s crowd on Santa Monica Blvd. Some people will twist anything rather than admit they don’t know something or were wrong.
I live in California and am well aware of what it’s like to live in a ‘mult-racial’ society–and it is not good, none of it. I’m willing to give up the ethnic restaurants to have what California was before the riots (that’s ‘65 riots).
I am old enough to remember when California was an utter paradise–make that a White paradise. No one locked the doors, kids played outside until dark and walked or biked all over town. There was a time when keys were left in the cars in. Schools were overwhelmingly White and world class.
I would posit the stress of living around ‘others’ also does a number on one’s health–and as Whites, we must walk on egg-shells lest we offend an ‘other’ and be brought up on charges of Hate Speech (it’s coming) and risk losing our jobs and pensions. It’s a mult-culti reign of terror, imposed only on Whites, of course, the Kulak class.
Now, in my neighborhood, for instance, homes are disappearing behind 9-foot re-inforced concrete-block walls with steel doors built around the entire property, front, sides and back–two of my neighbors have cameras pointed on the sidewalk and street in front of their homes. ALL of us have security doors bolted into the frame and foundation of the house. Newer neighborhoods boast in their ads that they’re protected by manned community gates and 24-hour ‘armed’ response. The public schools are gone, catering to the new colonists, not your White children, who will also be locked out of college admissions and scholarships.
You must pay for your children to attend an expensive private school, as you pay heavy property and state taxes to pay for neighborhood schools your White children cannot attend without being assaulted.
I do not know any of my neighbors, have been in none of their homes–and this is a wealthy neighborhood where homes start at $600,000, and that’s AFTER the real estate devaluation. Most of us also have large guard dogs–I have a pit bull/police dog mixture that mostly stays in the front yard.
I go to the local CostCo, Ralphs or Vons and hear little to no English–but there is plenty of Armenian, Farsi, Tagalong, Spanish, Korean, Mandarin, Russian and whatever language is spoken in India. Recently, I have seen English UNDER Spanish instead of the other way around. I truly live in The Land of Babble, that is not a joke.
These are my new neighbors, my new neighborhood, the new America–and we’re supposed to ‘celebrate diversity’ as we hunker down behind walls suspicious of our neighbors?
Meanwhile, the jerks in the statehouse, which is now completely controlled by communists, insist that the answer to California’s malaise are MORE taxes and business regulations. They cater to two classes only: The non-productive Welfare Class and Public Employee Unions. But what happens when there is no more Free White Money to redistribute?
California is imploding fiscally as the productive class and job-producing businesses have fled the state– replaced by welfare-draining illegal colonists from the Third World. I heard a report yesterday that noted the new Third World colonists make 70% less than the productive class that is being forced out due to satanic taxes.
To tweak Margaret Thatcher’s famous quote a bit: “The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of money.”
Of course, those who promote diversity and multi-culturalism mandate it only for you, not them–they live in the few remaining, exclusive White enclaves, behind iron gates. They don’t want Third World encroachment around them anymore than you do–but they’ll make sure your White neighborhood is destroyed–by design, of course.

I’m a member of the Loma Linda University Church of Seventh-day Adventists, and it is very diverse. With about 7,000 members, the student body of LLU (who’s campus is home to the Church) is just as diverse–many students are also members of the campus church. We have a very large percentage of Filipinos, African Americans, Latinos, and Asians–not too many Native Americans, though. Our diverse community makes it a great place to live, work, and worship.
I work at LLU, and in my office of 3, there is 1 white, and 2 Asians (1 is Indian). That’s indicative of the city and our campus and church communities.
Remember, that with a world-wide church membership of 15.6 million , only 1 million are in the North American Division (USA and Canada) .
